A14, Italy: A serious accident on the A14 motorway between Borgo Panigale and the A1 junction has claimed the life of a 24-year-old mother and left several members of her family injured. According to initial reports, the family’s minivan overturned without colliding with any other vehicle.
The young woman died at the scene from her injuries. Her six-month-old son was reportedly thrown from the vehicle and landed in an embankment. He remains in intensive care in critical condition. Two other children, aged 10 and 12, along with two adults, aged 48 and 55, also sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for
treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash. Traffic Police are examining whether driver fatigue, drowsiness, or distracted driving may have contributed to the tragic incident. Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
